My Book Launch
A book launch is always a great opportunity to meet with old and new reading friends who might enjoy Tasman-An Innocent Convict’s Struggle for Freedom. The kindness of Mary Kay, David, Michelle and the others at the Edmonds Bookshop to open their doors to authors is heartening. Coupled with the Third Thursday evening during the Edmonds Art Event, it was a chance to introduce myself and my books to a wide variety of people.
Thanks one and all who stopped in to visit and stayed to play my game,Prisoner’s Fate! A few guests were safe and returned to their homes; many however, took the voyage (Ha! They were sent to the penal colony and I don’t consider that a voyage. It was more of an ordeal.) but they remained friends amid their incarceration and uncovering their fate.
A new friend, Jackie S., won my drawing for a free materials. We met up last Saturday and she chose to receive 84 Ribbons as her prize.
The March drawing for a $20 Visa card is fast approaching. To enter, write a review of Tasman- An Innocent Convict’s Struggle for Freedom. Post it to Amazon, Goodreads, etc. and send me a copy by March 29th. That will qualify you to enter the first quarterly drawing of 2018. The winner will be announced in my April 3rd writing blog.
Wow! What a nice collection of photos! It looks like you had a successful launch of your excellent new novel, Tasman. I enjoyed stopping by and playing the game.
Delighted to see such a nice turnout for the launch of Tasman! Did anyone bring a bottle of champagne? Wish I could have been there – but I’ll see you at Third Place Books for your next event. Congratulations
