You mighty be able to introduce new foods to their &#8216;like&#8217; list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blender Drinks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Summer is a great time to blend up nutritious drinks.<\/p>\n<p>1 cup fruit + \u00bd cup juice + \u00bc cup yogurt + 3 ice cubes = I drink<\/p>\n<p>Experiment with single servings while you find the best combinations. Be aware of seedy fruits; many kids don\u2019t like crunchy drinks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer Snacks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fruit skewers:<\/p>\n<p>Cut fruit to bite-size pieces.\u00a0Place on skewers or Popsicle sticks. Chill and enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Protein skewers:<\/p>\n<p>Cut meat and cheese to bite-size.\u00a0Add veggies: cherry tomatoes to skewers for added taste and color.Put on skewer or Popsicle sticks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kids Recipes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Encourage food prep as well as reading and measuring by checking out a kids cookbook. Look for non-sugary items and recipes that require no cooking so young eating\u00a0remains healthy and young fingers stay safe. <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remember, cleaning up cooking projects is a part of the entire learning process. Help them rather then letting them walk away.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, consider a family outing to a farmer&#8217;s market or to farms to pick fruit and veggies.
