We are both types of learner, but each of us tend to lean toward one more than the other.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are the traits of an analytic learner:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Prefers true-false and multiple choice test questions.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Sees things separately rather than as a general idea.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Prefers to give and receive exact answers.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Tunes out people when needs to think.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Resists being &#8216;told&#8217; what to do.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Doesn&#8217;t need others approval.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0 Word-by-word reader<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0 Works best alone.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0 Self organizes.<\/p>\n<p>10.\u00a0 Enjoys math.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Now, here&#8217;s a look at the global learner&#8217;s traits.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Prefers tests with essays and requests for sharing opinions rather than true-false and multiple choice options.<\/p>\n<p>2. Math is an impersonal subject; in reading the global often skims and goes back for details.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Sees the big picture. Global learners look for the main ideas and relationships.<\/p>\n<p>4. Performs as a team player rather than a competitor; readily shares ideas.<\/p>\n<p>5\u00a0 Wants to know the expectations on tasks and projects.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Appreciates quiet time and praise.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0 Sensitive to criticism.<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0 Ideas grow randomly.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0 Detests timed tests.<\/p>\n<p>10.
