Be there when you say you will. The kids will notice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Continuity<\/strong> in following school rules and guidelines matters. Those ideas are in place for important reasons.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Collaboration with the teacher <\/strong>aligns your efforts with the discussion and activities in the classroom.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Consistent Conversation with students<\/strong> through the use of school procedures that build respect and equity are vital.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Critical Thinking skills <\/strong>help student develop their ability to become independent thinkers who use a variety of techniques to find answers.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Compassion<\/strong> for where a student is functioning on any given day develops their confidence that 100% is the goal, but some days only 40% or 60% is available.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Creativity <\/strong>and flexibility ways of thinking reinforces the idea that most problems have more than one acceptable solution.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Common Sense <\/strong>when selecting what to share with kids is important.
