It needs a lot of research and technical help on a vriety of topics, but I’m all in on finishing it!

My earlier novels have been started because of a deep relationship with the topics either from experiences, dreamt of experiences (dance themes) or visits to sites that impacted me (Tasman). This story has taken a different route. It’s grown on me as I have come to know my main character and her circumstances: being the only deaf student in a hearing school and wanting to play on the basketball team.

Don’t expect to hear much about Megan, my POV character, for quite a while. She’s given me lots of details to work out. Thanks to a special friend who works with deaf and hard-of-hearing students I’m hoping to create a YA book that shares issues and unexpected surprises in the life of one young woman.

[13,293,14,298

post-5162","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-musings","category-nanowrimo","category-new-works","category-sticks-and-stones
["GET
