Keynote: NYT Bestselling author Kristin Hannah in conversation with author Megan Chance

A former-lawyer-turned writer, Kristin Hannah is an award-winning and bestselling author of more than 20 novels including the international blockbusters, The Nightingale, Winter Garden, Night Road, and Firefly Lane. Friend, critique partner and author Megan Chance will lead a conversation with Kristin about the writer’s life and the writing process. Megan’s critically acclaimed, award-winning novels include A Drop of InkBone River, The Spiritualist, and An Inconvenient Wife.

Dates to Remember…

  • Mid-June: the print brochure will be mailed. If you wish to receive a printed brochure with the basic conference information, please send your mailing address to wots@edmondswa.gov. Otherwise, all information you need to know is available on the website.
  • July 20th, 9:30 am (PDT) online registration opens. WOTS requires attendees to sign up for sessions at the time of registration. As many of you are aware, sessions fill up fast. Be sure to mark your calendars to register sooner than later!
  • August 31st is the deadline for manuscript critique and writing contest submissions. Click on the following links for information on critique appointments and the writing contest.
  • September 1st the conference lodging discount ends at the Edmonds Harbor Inn/Best Western Plus. Please note: Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you plan to stay in town, don’t wait to make your reservation.
