My excuse reads: Working on a website with multiple books, 2 blogs, marketing my first YA novel (84 Ribbons) and writing my next 2 novels and a new teacher workbook. I haven’t forgotten my obligation to you, I just got side-tracked for a bit. We’re reorganizing my website to be more ‘follower friendly’ (I get no grade for originality, but I hope a passing grade for honesty.)
Now I have two requests:
1. I hope that when this reaches you, you’ll take a moment to let me know you received it.
2. If you have teacher and parent and volunteer friends who’d enjoy receiving weekly blogs on education tidbits, I’d appreciate your help in ’rounding them up’. You’ll receive weekly blogs, quarterly newsletters and an occasional e-blast with a contest thrown in every so often. I invite you to send me your ideas for future topics as well as questions or ideas that help you be a super volunteer. It’s what I’m about. I truly believe classroom volunteers matter. They add so much potential to what a teacher can accomplish in a typical day.
Signing up is easy. I look forward to hearing from you and your friends. It truly takes a village and together WE are that village.
