Summer is a great time to blend up nutritious drinks.

Fruit skewers:
Cut fruit to bite-size pieces. Place on skewers or Popsicle sticks. Chill and enjoy.

Cut meat and cheese to bite-size. Add veggies: cherry tomatoes to skewers for added taste and color.Put on skewer or Popsicle sticks.
Kids Recipes
Encourage food prep as well as reading and measuring by checking out a kids cookbook. Look for non-sugary items and recipes that require no cooking so young eating remains healthy and young fingers stay safe.
Remember, cleaning up cooking projects is a part of the entire learning process. Help them rather then letting them walk away.
In addition, consider a family outing to a farmer’s market or to farms to pick fruit and veggies. It’s saves money and provides great memories.
